This is.. certainly an ending. Most axed a series has ever felt. The final boss of axing.

Jeez, that is one brutal axe too. Makes me think that the reveal where the two counterparts met should've happened earlier, but then again it would have cheapened the reveal imo. Still, maybe a middle ground could have worked, instead of dragging it along.

This story had potential, but as usual, it gets beheaded before it can utilize it. That sucks.

Then again, it felt aimless once they did meet...

It had a ton of potential, like when he met that god-figure in that "sea place" where he had to rescue one of her iterations.
But, yeah - it sorta went a bit wander-y after that. Which kinda sucks; the premise was super interesting, and I honestly would have loved if more and more versions of her started showing up and him having to help them out with things, or possibly multi-verse hopping to help others get back to their own realities, and stuff.

A real full-on sci-fi element attached to the romcom of it all would have be cool to see. But, alas.

Yeah I can see why it was axed, interesting first chapter but it was going absolutely nowhere with a collection of standard romcom chapters.
