I just released a oneshot manga titled "My Ai Gf" and I'd love to hear your thoughts! The story explores the bond between a human and AI, and I think it's a relatable theme, mainly because of the character struggle .

What do you think about AI relationships in manga? Do you have a favorite AI-themed series? Share your opinions! And oh, you can read the manga here: 👉 My Ai Gf

I think the overall idea is nice, but kind of feels like it could use a bit more time in the oven. Maybe 10 more pages or something.
Didn't expect the story to end up happy and kind of wish fulfilment. Had all the marks of a "and then things got worse" story.

If you are going to write about someone getting more and more detached from reality and dependant on AI/hallucinated companions, I'll leave this as a possible inspiration to read, Freesia.

Lack of shadows kind of bothers me when it comes to art. I feel like few panels would've been better with some good contrast between black and white.

As a fictional story, well, it can be entertaining. Brought to real life, it's the definition of a relationship that can't fulfill a person or make them grow. The ones about AI I could recommend are dystopical and about robots/androids are essentially yuri. I guess the boom in this kind of stories came around (if not after) Her, a film from twelve years ago.

I definitely get your point. Actually the artstyle I use was intentional as I choose the inspiration from Silent voice in terms of the artstyle. So I intentionally drew the artwork to be simplified... You made a lot of good point too, which I can respectfully accept as my mistake... Unfortunately the oneshot it assigned to be on a limited number of pages so that's why there's no much time to dive too deep into the story... But if the one-shot is perceived to be good enough and welcoming by most people in the manga community, I plan to make a series of the manga... Maybe 45-101 chapters long... I believe the series will have more room to dive too deep into the story...

Hmmm, I get your point. To be honest, this concept of the story is unique and unlike the robot kind, however it's actually a story based on real life experience... I wish I can dive into the story by making it a series so as to be able to show how it end up going...but let's see how the one-shot goes first...
