whats going on with this stupid way of thinking, its not "others" its his son, the dad probably know that his son is Dhead, if im going to let all my work and effort be screwed and get a bad reputation because of a bad management i'd rather close it, the mc is a two-faced guy who cant obey rules nor the basic modals like mutual respect. In a place like Japan where courtesy and respect are essential, a restaurant or bakery whatever it is, would get nothing but bad reviews, as a restaurant and as a workplace, then again whats the point on telling him, knowing this jerk ahh personality (at least for now) he would put on a fight, argues or even do drama like running away from home.

Besides you can't expect people to stay the same way as when they were teenagers, yes people actually grow up.
Even if it's true that he argues, how do you know for a fact that he's just gonna slack on managing the restaurant, especially with how strongly he feels about wanting to do so? Again, we're talking about a high schooler here, realistically he would take over that restaurant when he becomes an adult, but how is he gonna do that when his dad just goes and decides to pull the plug on the restaurant?
Y'all are quick to make assumptions as if taking over a restaurant doesn't take a long time especially when you're still in high school

This argue spins around the restaurant closing being decided a long time ago, and the closing day is not too far. People do grow up, but people grow learning from their own mistakes and from being told what they are doing wrong, obviously what this teenager doesnt likes to.
Im not assuming he's going to slack off, but being a manager without an accertive personality nor abilitys, as every person he has his own ambitions, if he were take over the restaurant knowing his personality, he may impose his own ambitions onto others, resulting in an obvious not healty work-enviroment nor family friendly, we really dont know details about the restaurant, how it started and what made the dad start on it, "assumptions" are also on your words.
At the end of the day, we can see that the son himself is not a trust worthy person from his father perspective, we can read that the son has already asked and argued with his dad about taking on the res, if he didnt agree on it its because hemust have reasons, the kid hasnt even shown himself some merit to at least deserve to take up on it. No, just because we're highschoolers we can do whatever we want and be trust worthy to everyone, our actions show more than our words, and you can even see it by this guys reputation.

Honestly... After reading Volume 1 of the LN and then re-reading this chapter, he's depicted to be much worse here. In the manga he seems to be depicted more as an ass for the sake of being an ass, in the LN.. Well, he's still a brat there's no denying that, but I think it's more... I don't necessarily want to say reasonable, I guess more understandable and easier to empathize with than he is here.
Apparently there's two volumes to the LN but only Volume 1 appears to have a translation (according to Novelupdates, anyway) so I'll just share stuff from that.
After it's revealed that the two of them are in an arranged marriage, that MC will (eventually) be the heir for the step-father's company and have kid(s) with Shirahime, MC refuses. He does not wish to marry her, doesn't want to be the president of someone's company and, for reasons explained later in a later chapter, doesn't want the building sold because he promised he'd protect it.
After that there's obvious tension in the air, MC excuses himself to someplace he can calm down and think. Shirahime makes her way up there, they talk about the marriage, he rejects her (again) and the mask she wears comes off. Ranting about how she doesn't wish to get married either, how she hates him, people who act selfishly like him. But she has no choice.
MC, trying to push her away still, makes the mistake of saying that if she could kiss him there and then, that he would listen to whatever she says. She does it, takes it a step further and they kiss with tongue for longer than he expects. After that she then holds it over his head threatening that if he doesn't listen to her, she's going to tell her father and her modelling agency that he forced her to kiss him. Cause who will anyone believe, her or the problem-child him? That he'll be jailed for sexual harassment. His only other choice is to agree to marry her and that he'd listen to her every whim like a servant.
From then on it's always her instructing him to say something, or do something because "You know what will happen if you don't", all while pointing a big spotlight on him.
Assigns him things she was asked/expected to do (water flowers, take materials to a classroom, clean the gym, take notes for her, organize returned library books).
If he chooses to ignore her egging him on "For a delinquent you sure do drink something as cute as strawberry milk, huh?" MC ignores it, her eyebrows twitch "... Ignoring me? Oh well... I guess I could just tell papa" "Hehe, I wonder what would happen if people found out the delinquent [MC's name] is under my thumb?"
On their date she tells him to pick a movie they'll be watching, that "Anything is fine". "Anything" was, in fact, not fine. His choice doesn't matter. She decides that they probably can't finish a large one, so they're going to share a small one. She then rejects his choice of popcorn flavoring, he argues the since she picked the movie that he should at least be able to pick the popcorn, especially since she knows he's not fond of salty flavors. To which she stomps on his foot. They go someplace to eat, every place he picks is wrong because she doesn't like the food or the portion sizes are too large, so they go to a cafe. She wants to go half of his parfait and he can have half of hers. Only, since he doesn't like the parfait she's getting, he won't be getting half of it. So she gets her whole parfait as well as half of his.
After all that, she expresses how bored of the date she is. How "If you're a man, take the lead a little~", is surprised when he gets upset over it then goes on about how it's all his fault anyway. At the end of the date she does seem to come around a bit, essentially apologizing for her selfishness despite expressing how much she hated selfish people, her irrational and threatening behavior.
These things do come back to bite her in the ass toward the end of Volume 1 and she does seem to come around and turn over a new leaf after the date.
