Two things wrong with this:
1 - He didn't accuse her, he made a pointed statement that is true. She is no longer a proud noble but instead lives only to serve and seek praise from him. He said it's pitiful because of how prideful she was before. Even with his spell, it wouldn't get rid of her pride because...

2 - He did not use a memory destroying spell. He explained last chapter that all he did was push her affection and loyalty to him to the upmost limit. Everything she's done afterward was done entirely by her, he didn't even order her to kill her subordinates. This pretty much shows how devoted she is to someone she has affection for, which actually makes me feel bad for that Will guy. Had they never fought the MC, she would have became the perfect dutiful wife.

It was a bit rushed over but I think it was explained last chapter. She wasn't given any special orders and came to those actions herself. In her mind, she burdened him with the contract and those terms so she decided to break it herself so it wouldn't be a problem. Yard couldn't necessarily uphold his side, but he didn't break it either. It's like someone telling you to promise them not to break a vase, and they just break it anyway in front of you.

It’s kinda the same thing with El, the mc just finally decided to try to not just see her as a disciple and she said she’ll be “more aggressive.” But “coincidentally”, she’s getting left behind in the fortress away from the mc.😂🤦

The plot armor of this Van is so stupid. This is the 2nd time he appears to the MC, and yet this Idiot MC just let him go again. When they encounter him for the 3rd time, I wonder what kind of alibi he's gonna tell to this stupid MC to believe him again. Also, I'm worried for El; she was left behind (again) with this Van in that territory.
