Tbf that does happen irl. Queen Elizabeth II held the title of "Duke of Lancaster", not Duchess.Interesting, the girl didn't become a Duchess but a Duke. It does sound cooler, good for her.
I think they skipped a few months every chapter and it added up to 5 years total so far?I think the original plot was 10 years off in chapter 1. in fact I just checked and it is. Well shit, the usual justification is they're underfed, cause I'm assuming some of them were in their teens already. They went from little kids to full teenagers in… what, 4-5 months? We sure the few months wasn’t a type for years?
We tried using duchess, it wont work. If u read the chap the mc was confused and surprised that the duke was actually loria and not her dad. As for the talents, stuff like the sword talent is well a talent for the sword and combat isnt just the sword, it may or may not include it tho. U get my pointThe duke/duchess thing is weird, could be for some word trick in korean that makes it a gender neutral term that doesn't really work in english.
The talent for faith and apostle seems similar, but I think it means that she can use abilities binded to faith, like sacred spells, when apostle should mean being a conduct to the divine power itself.
Sword and combat too could sound similar but nope, sword means he is good at using that weapon, combat that she have a genuine battle sense that doesn't need tools or can use them all at a master level, probably just below sword on that weapon.
The missions are most likely MC taking their natural talent in mind and trying to introduce them to places where it would shine, like the church or the capital library, given their age and it being a manhua is even possible they are going to the usual magic academy and MC placed them in the right spots, in both case they believe there is a bigger meaning and will think that even without ever meeting MC knows them perfectly.
I wasn't criticizing the TL quality, just saying that it was probably a sentence that had to use "duke" to make MC keep his surprised reaction and it woulnd't work with duchess, I'm guessing that in the original korean it was something gender neutral, seen that kind of trick used in manga some times. We tried using duchess, it wont work. I would agree with that normally, but if you recheck the last 3-4 chapters. All of that took a span of 2 nights and one day, as the red hair got home after their trip to be confused about the Mc after the ball, the Altia lady arrived at the ball right after to see the family get nuked, and the sins are still kids in all the scenes. Only then after then is when the 2 & few months took place and even the altia girl is taller and her facial features more refined. So even that logic is out.I think they skipped a few months every chapter and it added up to 5 years total so far?I think the original plot was 10 years off in chapter 1. in fact I just checked and it is. I do wonder what the context will be for when he finally does see their faces.
Yutia is possibly 10 years old when he sent for her and it's seems like the other kids are around her age. So it's expected that after five years, they are about to set out if we assume medieval rules that they'll be adults around 15-16 years old.I think they skipped a few months every chapter and it added up to 5 years total so far?I think the original plot was 10 years off in chapter 1. in fact I just checked and it is. With your explanation yeah the presentation doesn't add up, I think he has been imagining them as children every time for the sake of the joke this chapter so that's fine. We do see them in person though so yeah they had a growth spurt. I guess it's fine, I think it would've been helped by not giving specific times as often, or just aging them up every few months as they would've normally. So either the artist/author/editor who ever handled it is just not good with time allocation ooor for some reason they wanted to portray all the sins as children in a form of veil to represent what he thinks they looked like at the time.
