Kamen Rider (the character that she transformed into) was a human transformed into a cyborg by the doctors of a terrorist organization, SHOCKER. He escaped before they could brainwash him and became a superhero that fights against other SHOCKER cyborgs. I guess the joke is that she cured herself by becoming a super powered cyborg, like Kamen Rider.
