The author/mangaka directly tells us he is stupid. so stupid in fact, he entered schools where the bottom of japanese hierarchy ladder is. smart & discipline [top ladder] <--------> stupid & delinquents [bottom ladder].

I'm from a western country and people at the age of 17 still counts as minors/children. Each country their own, but I was taught that the brain isn't fully developed at that stage yet + hormones are spiralling as fast as a beyblade. On top of this, his stupidness is another important detail. dumb people tend to need more time to process information aka slower aka the r-slur (also known as Intellectual Disability).

I understand that you couldn't know about japanese hierarchy - especially if you're not familiar with another culture's meta (which i only got from watching animes tbf). it's time to put down ignorance towards why and hows of humans in general. What if a human is not capable to evolve as fast as their fellow peers? What if a human is neurodivergent (neurodiverse means different way of thinking, and this honestly applies to all humans. however, that's a topic for some time else)?​

I know such characters from other mangas.

Also, i get all that brain development thing. Putting aside MC's backstory, I would expect a fantasy wold with magic would ignore common sense. That's part of being the main character that was isekaied.
To use your knowledge to your advantage especially when you know you are going to get killed.
Because the point of these people being isekaied is to save the dying character. But our lil dude here is so full of flowers in his head, it annoys me.

But i know now why he can't focus on his 'staying alive' goal.

In my defense, I've been reading other similar stories with same isekai plot.
I ended up expecting better from these people that getting isekaied that i forgot some of them isn't even an adult.

Just to be clear, he's CUTE AF.
That's why i stayed.
And that's why I'm also mad because his out here being cute and all when his family will be in ruin! 😭😭😭

we already have 2 isekai'd kiddos, similar age to Franz. both seem to be able to steer away doom much better than Franz ever could. i've read so much bs in my life; i'd rather get a positive surprise over dissapointment at this point. ¯\(ツ)/¯
