Well, the harem is sorta big, at this point some of them are already introduced, like Caron and Shion that he get married to, but there is still his legal wife along 3 others that he get married to by the end of the main story (at that point only Caron and his legal wife have a child with him), the harem include Orca, but for reasons they can't get married but he still end up as his lover, but his harem still have more future prospects that the author already hinted in the WN, like his reincarnated sister

Instead here he talks how in the original story he was present and a asshole on the same level of the original villainess.
I don't think is a text mistake like he referring to the adopted sibling as a girl, the images show 2 people from his memory of the original story.
I believe it could be a mistake OR the adaptation was covering the original web novel where his character had died and then the mangaka was told by the editor that the light novel, that is the official novel, had kept his character.
For MC referring to the sibling as "he" when his thoughts about the future clearly show a female uniform and say is a heroine, I think is a bad attempt from the mangaka to keep the original surprise of she being a reverse trap that faked being a boy for noble family circumstances, MC knows she is a girl.

Orca in the future simply dress like a girl because he wants to.
Remember this is supposed to be the world of a otome (girls game)
So between the usually more manly love interests of the game female protagonist, Orca was supposed to be the femboy love interest.
But Orca is a boy. Read the novel and MC gets to confirm it once while taking a bath.
About MC, he doesn't even seem to be colorless in that flashback. There seems to be some weird circumstances around him and the version of him in the original game.
