Usually id bemoan that the mc isnt putting his foot down or should just leave but when he tried that he got literally blackmailed with a false rape accusation and he knows she has bullshit powers that let her do anything(excpet be honest with her feelings or not an asshole to the guy she loves, apparently). So hes stuck with a girl whos love language is making unreasonable demands and then getting mad when they arent instantly fulfilled.

Also shinagashi is an insane stalker who should be in jail multiple times over and takamine calling her just "a bit twisted" really reveals how out of her mind takamine is.

To top it all of, she seems entirely ok with shirota being phyiscally assaulted and insulted for some reason.(maybe that shouldnt suprise me, after all takamine does that herself often enough).

This is probably just some elaborate scheme to show of how cool "her shirota" really is, but there is realmy no need for that and so far it has only done bad for seemingly no reason.

I don't think the author understands how alien, how maladapted his characters are.

Takamine is supposed to be the best and most loved student in school, but you don't get to that position by just being able to ace tests, she lacks emotional intelligence.....she doesn't understand or respects other people's emotions, author thinks that being smart means being hot and acing tests (by cheating) a smart writer would have had her improve beyond that, would have put her in a test with someone who understands her character and where she couldn't just keep reloading to tests all possible answers because it was always done with the same methods and mentality.

Yeah this is trash and I keep reading because somehow I think that the author might have a stroke and become smarter.

Don't just say that just because it has nudity we should expect poor writing, It's a patronizing view against readers that just plays into the sort of stereotypes that people who hate ecchi like to use.

After that chapter on an absolutely random island, the story only regressed (it wasn't that good to begin with, btw), but damn, it just gets worse. Zero evolution for the protagonists at this point; Shirota remains a wimp and Takemine a little bitch.

i like this series overall but this arc is painful. we know she likes him, and she knows he likes her. why the fuck was this arc necessary, and why is takamine even humouring this stalker? i know takamine is weird with her twisted logic but your goal is to get with him and at this point it is very easy to score more points with him. playing along with bullshit like this will only serve to fuck you over
