There's nothing wrong with that. If anything, if someone isn't a little weird somehow, they probably aren't that interesting."I'm pretty weird, huh?"
That's a burn and a half."I'm just trying to think if there's anything actually worth mentioning..."
It could be that she's mulling over whether what Hanabi told her about "her boyfriend being too much of a horndog" was true. She doesn't know for certain if Hanabi was whored out, because that's not what Hanabi told her, and so she's prodding whatshisname about whether she would lie to her or notAny positive feeling I should have whilst Yukishiro is gushing over their newfound relationship is just dampened by the knowledge she's seen Hanabi being whored out.
I think that what the author is trying, and failing to portray well, is that Yukishiro is too much of a "pure and wholesome perfect waifu" to even fully understand what is happening to Hanabi.Any positive feeling I should have whilst Yukishiro is gushing over their newfound relationship is just dampened by the knowledge she's seen Hanabi being whored out. It's so distracting, that and not addressing it immediately is even worse, I can't even be as invested in this bitch at work since it's a small problem really that can be addressed before it's gone that far.
How do you fail at both redeeming and punishing a character this hard, I want Hanabi eaten by a pack of dogs for the newfound abuse we've found out in her filming CP of MC. I also want her new BF executed in a public square for what he's doing, I also don't want Hanabi to have to be whored out as a form of punishment it's just tasteless.
It should be easy to hate these people and yet I only find myself hating the author. I might drop this depending on how much it spirals.
Possibly, my problem with this is it's such an extreme situation that could've got the exact same response from Yukishiro without having to have her fucking her sorta bf against her will and whoring on top of it. She could've been getting forced to keep dating him without explicit rape, the author is a shockmonger. It could be that she's mulling over whether what Hanabi told her about "her boyfriend being too much of a horndog" was true. She doesn't know for certain if Hanabi was whored out, because that's not what Hanabi told her, and so she's prodding whatshisname about whether she would lie to her or not
It's so frustrating, there's nothing wrong with her but then why is every other woman in this series a certified nutcase? Author has the subtlety of a sledgehammer. If you want to have fucked up manipulation and blackmail then perhaps have MC contend with it and grow and decide whether the abuse he suffered is justification enough to do nothing. Obviously not but having Yukishiro perhaps slowly open up Hanabi isn't much better.I think that what the author is trying, and failing to portray well, is that Yukishiro is too much of a "pure and wholesome perfect waifu" to even fully understand what is happening to Hanabi.
She's SO pure and holy and that she cannot even comprehend the levels of evils that she witnessed.
She is le perfecto waifu for our perfecto BIG DICK OMEGA GOD CHAMPION protag here, like, uwu kawaii desu ne.
Not sure I agree. I mean, a sledgehammer usually hits its target.Author has the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
