As a fan of the anime, it's definitely a little jarring to see how the manga tells the same story. As opposed to the anime's more low key, cinematic approach, Osanai and Jougarou are far more expressive here compared to the almost unsettling characters we get in the anime and the dialogue's been doubled with more chibi expression comedy and more classic manga background effects (bubbles, depressed squiggles etc). Don't think it's bad but it does feel a bit more "standard".
