This premise had way more potential that what was done with it. Takai was absent for basically most of the story which doesn't make sense since her dynamic is a way more interesting one. her feelings also changed on a switch, it would have made more sense to see more of the change in the earlier chapters but the focus was almost entirely on uehara. There The whole secrecy thing was basically inconsequential until now when the story is heading to an end. it wouldn't have made much of a difference if they weren't fucking anyway since it really didn't add anything for the bulk of the story until now. Now when she's more relevant she gets a god awful trim and a sudden blushy personality, the character is completely unrecognisable from what made her interesting in the first place. The mc claimed he had no reason to deny the sex with her but here claims he thinks uehara is too good for him which really just shits on takai's worth from his perspective. he has no reason to refuse sex with uehara either. The story could have actually made that an interesting plot point but again, we just get him blushing around like a retard.
