This almost feels more like a Cid Kagenou situation than a Lord Ainz one imo.

MC have a title, land and the money his family made, and without having to support gangs and lavish and greedy lifestyles the money he makes from normal noble work is probably enough to avoid the house from going down.

I understand what you mean, but normally nobles have to manage the teritory, and we see him getting overburdened after inheriting the land and territory.
He probably kicked out the people that worked for his father and brother that wrre dirty like them and had to do everything on his own for a while.
So he is doing the job of a noble.

Yeah, that’s mostly me being a dirty left-winger, but I don’t consider managing the money you wring out of people who have no say in whether they want you to govern them as work. And that’s pretty much all the “work” a traditional Western noble has to do, since it has always been considered (in Europe at least) a foundational element of nobility that nobles do not work. You could actually lose your noble status over that…

I'm gonna believe that this MC is doign a pretty fine job not wanting people to suffer like they did originally (could get a revolt that kills him from his own people) and using modern knowledge to raise the life quality of his territory.
