I do wonder if uncle is being intentionally written as aro ace or if it's more the curse of harem manga having to continually up the stakes while not confirming an end game ship until the very end.

We know that probably he didn't end with any of them before leaving the other world.
He don't seem an aro ace based on a lot of stuff, he was just a loner on earth (and rejected even by his shit family, as we seem) and then he had a horrible time in the other world, its makes sense that he can't detect things like attraction or love from others, heck, he has a hard time even to detect basic kindness and gratitude towards him
