the translator gave up because the anime was covering the same material and they skipped to the non anime volumes. unfortunately they never finished.

the purpose of the anime was to create a board game advertising property in the japanese market.
the manga never got an english release because its usefulness for advertising board games is not needed, as the board game market in the anglo=sphere is MASSIVE and doesnt need media support.
