I don't know why they went with that strategy. I thought it was more efficient for the mage to handle the golems while the hero and thief handle the goblins. That way they'd end up with just one mithril golem to deal with. Either use the holy sword or GTFO with minimal losses.

Sadly, this is not that much of fiction.
I could name multiple well known hyper-arrogant people, who are acting like they would be the best of the best, while they do a horrible job at anything they touch.
