I used to have a Norwegian Forest Cat who loved to swim and get in the bath/shower.

more future tech, huh...? wonder if it's warming us up to something extreme like "cat pods" they spawn in as opposed to a regular mating season or so

I guess cats liking water isn't a bad thing but i'd be concerned about ocean water versus a lake unless there's some changing/shower room they can rinse off

Yeah, having been through it with dogs (never actually seen a cat that would go in seawater), there is some SERIOUS fur issues with all that salt. Itch Itch Itch! Luckily, all Japanese beaches that people go to seem to have minimal showers. And since this one was advertised and has restaurants (off camera) I'm sure they do.
