tbh I had always seen these stories as 'those ghosts that weren't saved by Kaori' instead of the people.
what would happen to those that could join the happy go lucky casts of the apartment if only they meet Kaori.

Feels like this tale is a spoof of some other ghost harem story, Honestly i'm not a fan of the side story characters getting saved. It would have been better to let them get that hit as a way to make us remember that these ghosts are actually scary and dangerous to the normal person and that we see not everyone is lucky enough to get saved by kaori.

On page 5 you can see Kagura sitting on a bench in the background while the kid plays soccer with the ghost squad.

I'm not fond of these past three chapters ending with the ghosts getting beaten; not only because I liked the out-and-out horror vibes, but because this kid locked in a buxom fox girl right off the bat and yet immediately started trying to build a harem. Disrespecting a fluffy-eared onee-san who's just looking out for you like that deserves death.
