My guess... This guy and the girl's mother were the other two adventurers we saw when Aries' dad said he used to be in a party with his mom. And by the looks of things, the party split wasn't on the best of terms for one reason or another. So I kinda wonder how the parents will feel about their kids being almost certain to become a couple.

Nah. If you look on page 22 of Chapter 4, Aries' dad is likely the guy on the right with the more defined eyebrows (his eyebrows match in the first panel of the next page, and he does the same damn pose the very next panel), and his mother is absolutely the woman next to him, on the far right. This new guy looks to be the guy on the left with a new hairstyle but the same curly ahoge, and it's almost certain that the girl's mother is the black-haired lady on the far left. The girl herself has the same hairstyle, only longer, as the woman who I think is her mother.

With this manga, there doesn't seem like there'll be any twist that his family isn't his family by blood, or that either parent cheated on the other, but not to completely rule it out, I'd bet on it having been the mother if at all, just to get that half-sibling incest so many isekai manga love to include.
EDIT: My biggest reasoning as to why I don't think it's as likely that there was cheating is primarily how focused the premise was on him not having family in our world. There's absolutely no way a kid as young as he was depicted didn't have some kind of foster family, and while I understand that some foster families aren't the best, most do try their best to be the family the kids need, despite how difficult it can be. Which means that the focus is on blood relatives, which does carry greater importance in Japanese culture in general.

Had to do a bit of research to check if Japan still even has orphanages, given every other developed nation has moved away from them, following both scandals and scientific studies. Turns out, they do -and have even been chided about their orphanages by the UN. So... you have a valid point.

maybe it's just the art style but you'd think there'd be more foreshadowing if so tho it'd be pretty messed up for him to be an orphan reincarnated only to be born in a family that had an affair versus him also just popping into existence one day and taken in
