No i had similar experience. My advice is just treat her as a friend.

In my case, one girl was super clingy to me in highschool and out. She'd have boyfriends but still cling to me. Have me listen to her bitch about problems and issues, try to sleep over and really physical.

I couldn't stand it and asked her what does she want us to be. Sh3 replied that she wanted me to be a big bro to her. So I said fine, then that's all I'll ever be for you.

It's a waste of time and emotions to pine for someone who keeps you as a safe "backup".

That's because both of you were friendzoned, which basically means the girl sees you as another girl. Some of them even would go as far as waltzing around half-naked or/and sleep in the same bed. And this, unfortunately for all parties involved, includes physical contact. You see, when we, guys, initiate a physical contact, we usually want sex. When the women initiate physical contact they often want to convey intimacy, closeness and/or friendship.
So, for guy-friend the whole situation is incredibly infuriating, because the girl keeps on sending conflicting messages, while at the same time, the girl doesn't realize she is doing something wrong, because that's how she would behave with girl-friend.

Btw, this also means you can get away with some 'stuff', just don't be creep.

Girls do that. You (and me) are seen as backups for when they're ready to settle down.

Or worse, she treats you like a confidence boost.

Either way, don't waste time on someone who doesn't see you that way, life's too short for that.

Edit: i had also been cheated on, went through an angry and depressed period, but now I'm married with 3 kids.
