It did get a happy ending, but now the author wants to keep going, and made more drama.
I wished to see it keep going but just chilling, doing slice of life stuff with her gang...
I would love to see her develop her new duchy, watch her build schools for the commoners finally make literacy and books mainstream, and Ferdinand publishing the first academic paper and making his own University, instead she will probably get involved in god shenanigans.
That's exactly what I wanted too. Just a volume or two of Rozemyne and Ferdinand doing Aub stuff. It would be the perfect epilogue, especially after all the madness in P5.

While I get that it's something that most nobles would consider, it feels fucking insane for Sylvester to admit he had thought of disposing of Myne's family as a way to tie up loose ends, and that his reason for not doing so wasn't "oh I simply couldn't do that to my newly adopted daughter" but just that "oh, yeah she's too powerful and would throw a fit if I did it". Like, seriously?

This whole time he's been built up as a "noble, but one of the good ones" type, but that line basically paints him as just as much of a jackass as all the rest, just slightly more pragmatic in how he goes about things. It paints him as someone who doesn't genuinely care about Myne beyond what she can benefit him with, and would do bad by her if he was able to control her more (which is exactly what the other noble was trying to do here, he was just sloppier about it).

Unless this is just a bad TL/wording of "oh, I was considering disposing of them (faking their deaths just like I'm doing to Myne now)", or a "haha I just wanted to scare them there (for some likely dumb reason)" that kind of sours me on his whole character.
It boils down to noble customs in Yurgenschmidt, any other Aub would have done the same, and you will see it later on, more brutal stuff is due, and again his pragmatism will shine. But it doesn't mean Silvester is not just fucked up in the head,
The gods who blessed him might have to do with that lol.

but is the magic contract not risky for myne and her family? Before it was mentioned by benno that if you broke a magic contract you could die. So if somebody from the family accidently talk to myne like family for example if they are alone in her room in the church...

But don't the other parts take place in the future? I don't want spoilers.
Well there is that, I didn't mind them spoilers though.
I preferred that instead of waiting god knows how long for the serializations to finish.

Funnily enough, i got the biggest spoiler from the wiki while searching for a name i forgot about lol (i am very bad with names irl and there is a fuckton of characters).

My biggest spoiler was the P5V11 cover. I was already in P5 so knowing who would get the position did feel a tiny bit deflating.

"I have to use it for them... for example, if I were to kill all the nobles of the country, I wouldn't have to leave my family anymore..."

This happens a lot with the novel illustrations... it is some of the few gripes i have against this series.

While the LNs were still coming out, I was constantly looking at the covers of future volumes because I was so excited to see where things were going. The "how" of the story is always more interesting than the "what" is. For me at least.

The P5V7 cover is quite spoilery as well, and let's not even talk about P5V7 color insert, which is at the start of the book, and is an ULTRA-level spoiler...

I guess you're right about the color insert. I just took it as a preview, like those old trailers for a new episode of star trek or something. xD

"Oh boy, I wonder how THAT'LL happen!" then I wait through the entire novel for the event only for it to end in a cliffhanger. :pacman:

It maybe dangerous to her family but likely not for Myne. The one who makes magic contracts is the Archduke and he can set the conditions or even break the contracts
