Well Ig I missed that part. I just thought they'd eventually get in trouble again and he'd ask for her help. I also said netorare blood sucking cuz it wasn't thru sexual intercourse and I have already read 2 manga based on that.

Don't they know that people die aside from being murdered by their colleagues? Just hang out at the hospital and steal bodies. Or steal donated blood. No need to kill at all if just blood is enough to eat

reading this i'm not sure if it can end in any other way than miyu and ren both dying

even if they achieve peace and destroy the organization, just one person's blood seemingly isn't enough for the persephonia so miyu would starve or go insane at one point or another afterwards

of course there's the possibility someone somehow comes up with a miracle solution to either revert the persephonia or a superfood that keeps them well fed but like ok dude

The question is how did they stay fed at the lab? It obviously wasn't by feeding them humans, at least most of them, since most of the ones we've seen so far only seemed to realize they have to eat people to survive after they escaped the lab. I'm thinking they already have some food/sustenance they developed at the lab to feed them already. I wonder if they'll actually address this in the story or not? It's a pretty big plot hole right now that I hope actually gets attention.
There's also the question of... how did they not realize/feel that "we have to eat people" instinct with the humans working at the lab? Is it perhaps the smell of humans that triggers it? Did they keep them quarantined in completely separate ventilation systems or something? It likely isn't triggered by seeing humans, unless the humans working at the lab also never showed their visible forms to any of the persephonia and stayed behind one way mirrors or walls the whole time, and only viewed their test subjects through cameras.
Lots of unanswered questions.

The lab was probably feeding them humans but pretending it wasn't human. Since the girls themselves weren't killing if they gave a burger made of human meet and told them it was beef they wouldn't know. As we see they have no problem turning children into this without their consent by pretending they died. We also see that they aren't above lying since they are here planning to use the healing girl until she dies and help her sister by making her a persephonia.
