Nah dude. They would def care. Netflix had a documentary about a mom bullying her daughter, remember? They talked to a lot of people in the small town in saying how EVERYONE knew. Small towns and islands are known for how nothing is hidden.

There are a few more new characters introduced, we get a whole new subplot about a cheating CEO playboy i think, and his timid wife. It's all actually a huge plan to completely ruin Karin, and it's really good and interesting.

People in medium or big cities don't care about what you do with your life, talking too much about neighbors 'cause this could invite problems to your life, but people in small town or remote place love gossip about their nighbors's life. A man in the street a live left his wife to live with another woman, in two days everybody knows about the case, who was that woman, how he left the house in the middle of the night and every sordid detail about the story, they are the main topic of neighborhood for months. Small place are a nightmare when we talk about gossip

A long time... In ch 107 she reveals everything to Karin and publishes a book with her whole story. The husband reads it in ch 109 and loses his mind (he even tried to kill himself by jumping from a cliff but the hospital staff fund him in time and stopped him).

I mean, being 'booksmart' doesnt mean you're good at relationships, and even then
'successful' ppl also get ruined relationships/there's stories of younger men and women ruining the marriages of older couples esp if they already have kids or so
