You made it sound like, “mid, not surprised that it’s cancelled,” but in reality it wasn’t bad, decent compared to the usual slop, had only been 2 chapters to judge, and was actually cancelled because of health issues.
I was actually a little offended by how mid the first chapter was. About fifty pages of nothing. The only characterization anyone had was “in love with their love interest” or “dead.” At best there was some comedy out of the couple-routine but it wasn’t actually funny.
I’m prepared to eat crow if it’s got some amazing LN/WN but there was no hook. No flavor. Not even much established conflict, beyond the implicit “he’s one hundred years in the future, so probably that will challenge him, maybe.”

I thought that it just seemed to be something chill. Hence, fitting if it was. The only hook being a couple who has achieved their goal so now they’ll go off on their personal ones.
Some people were desperate to see some drama that they were even expecting ntr from just one chapter.
That’s not too unrealistic for some ancient societies. When moneylending/usury are illegal, inflation naturally ends up near zero as long as the government doesn’t mint too much money. Although, without a central banking authority, inflation can quickly spike during a crisis, but they seem to have been totally at peace for the last hundred years.
