I get why Chia thinks Kenta is in love with her sister. Chie now looks like how Chia did back when Kenta was little and had an obvious crush on Chia. Chia is basically a burnout who has an inferiority complex with her past self (and thus her sister). So she views Chie as better than her which (in her mind) means Kenta must love Chie and not her.

It's not really anything so complex, the plot of the manga is "Chia has crippling self esteem issues and really needs a hug, Kenta is a dense little shit until he finally isn't", that explains pretty much everything that happens in it. She just assumes she's going to be forever alone
I'm still mad that she does the cliche as hell "I am no longer sad/unhappy/'wrong' so I will stop dyeing my hair to show how normal and happy I am again" shit at the end, I like her blonde hair

It's Japan. You can't be happy unless you fit in with everyone else and are as generic and unremarkable as possible. The nail that sticks up gets hammered down. I hate it. It's the same thing that drives every cute girl with quirks to become as bland and generic as possible once her personal trauma or relationship drama is solved. Cute nerd girl will stop tying her hair in braids and stop wearing glasses because otherwise nobody will think she's cute. Cute delinquent will stop dying her hair and will become quiet and demure otherwise nobody will understand that she's better. Cute gal will... well, this is maybe the only exception because it's 50/50 that a story with a gal heroine will have her reform and become a normie again vs still being a gal at the end.

That's my point. Chia has huge confidence issues now. She didn't in the past. Her interactions in the flashbacks show as much.
She is also a burnout which can be seen by her being a drunken neet. Chie at the very least looks like Chia when she was younger. Chia remembers him looking up to her when they were younger, thus assumes that Kenta would fall in love with Chie.
