The ending was good, the lead up to the ending felt rushed, he ended up going on dates with many Karin's that didn't have any time to actually show their personalities, but the actual ending was basically what I expected and was satisfying.

Coulda been worse. Read through the last five chapters on catchup and it actually flowed fairly naturally to me. Sucks that so few manga get to really hit their stride and carry on long enough to make their mark. But not every manga can be Dandadan or Kaoru Hana.

Better that it got a proper ending rather than a rushed non-ending or having its rotting corpse dragged over the finish line, at least.

Not every short story is axed. Sometimes author know the story they wanna tell and don't need or feel like dragging it out. Given the sheer amount of Karins at the end, it was never going to go through them all at length.
