Yeah, it almost seemed incidental in this story, like since the MC didn't play along with the story, all the other characters picked up a parasitic infection in a dungeon and had to be hospitalized/decontaminated, Heroine was even quarantined somewhere.

depends on the extent of the crazy. theres a line between crazy and absolutely insane, and you don’t cross that line. get close to it sure, but cross it? no.

I think Katia is a pretty scary final boss despite her lack of appearances in the story prior to now - the way she was kept out of sight in the temple only to reappear to Christopher while he was withering away from madness (I had thought she was some kind of hallucination that would get him to jump out the window when she first appeared, hovering in the air). I’m excited to see where this goes!
