Rua haters need to chill out. You all are thinking about this wrong.
She's not a tsundere brat bully - She's an advanced level girlfailure.

Also: If Rua is about to stroke out from Ayacha giving him a kiss on the cheek, hopefully she never learns what went down at the cafe.

YEah what is this "not allowed to use Rei anymore" bullshit? How are we going to get more of Kaz melting the kuudere assassin if she's not sent into situation where they'll interact?!

The handmaidens at Castle Anthrax know the solution to brats. Its the same as turning on the grail-shaped beacon.

See above: She's not a brat, she's a cataclysm level girlfailure.

Brah, listen:
If she dies, how will she suffer from having to watch as Kaz chads his way to a harem of girls she viewed as beneath her, while absolutely ignoring her? Dead is nothing compared with needing to live with the knowledge she had him and ruined it.
Think before you type, man.

Because this is a comedy manga so a lot of things are turned up to 11 for comedic effect. Aya is never really put in any real danger because the slapstick resolution happened quickly, so the light tone of the manga never falters (even if its really fucked up if you think about & take it to the logical conclusion)

This is like saying you can't believe Larry hasn't sued Moe for physical and emotional abuse.
If she lives then she'll always find ways to get rid of the girls the MC has interest in and try to get in the mc's way over and over at some point the bitch has to die

Both Ayacha and the aunt/relative person this chapter have me thinking the ground work's being laid to eventually rehabilitate Rua's image.
Not sure if that's actually the case, or if this is people around her having tons of patience and giving her the benefit of the doubt--until she proves all efforts and good-will are futile and she's ultimately brought low.
But...even with the crazy powerleveling battle manga subtheme to this, I don't know if it's also the sort of title that'll actually commit to "the antagonist fully losing", and instead she'll ultimately be redeemed by the infinite patience and virtuous actions of the various heroines (since the ML's written her off entirely, at this point at least).

Guess we'll see.
I was considering this, too. And worrying that the mangaka might allow her to worm her way back into the ML's love.
That feels insane, considering what he has been through, so please please noooo.

I don't think it's even a binary end result.

It doesn't have to be between "Rua is forever persecuted for her sins" and "Rua gets Kazuma back".

It could easily be that she grows over time, learns that she's had a fucked-up childhood and has done bad shit, and moves beyond that and becomes a better, well-adjusted person, but at most remains friends with Kazuma while he goes on to do whatever it is his character journey requires.

Maybe she takes over her grandfather's company and runs it better; maybe she goes off to start her own company, or join something else, or stays in the entertainment business, or goes off for a quiet life out of the limelight, or travels overseas to do entertainment stuff elsewhere entirely.
Maybe she gets with someone else, or no one at all - but I think that the seeds for her potential rehabilitation are being planted with this chapter, at least in terms of it being feasibly well-executed.

True, so long as one accepts the over the top hysterical storytelling where her up to now behavior can be seen as anything other than full-on deranged.
And yes, it isn't exactly unique. I just don't want to normalize those hysterical manga behaviors for myself, whether they relate to males or females.

she's really not that over the top, when you remember what's going on with the MC.

I said it earlier in the thread already, but at the risk of repeating myself - this might have started as a goofy harem romcom "revenge story" wherein the MC cut ties with an abusive character and went on to find themselves.
But in reality, he himself is a 1st year high school kid who's going 1vX with adults and beating them all to a pulp, fighting off adults with his bare hands when they're wielding weapons, is insanely physically adept, seemingly super smart, and all of this was apparently beaten into him from childhood while he was simultaneously trained and conditioned by the billionaire family of Rua's, with the aim of him eventually becoming her husband, her personal bodyguard, and all-around "handyman".

That right there is the premise that's being given to us. This is a battle manga with power scaling, dressed up as high school harem romcom nonsense. And he's not even seemingly romantically engaged or invested in the "romance" part of that, and demeanor-wise is very much not contributing greatly to the "comedy" facet, either.
Rua being a violent megalomaniacal brat who's powertripping on Doting Granddaddy's money and connections while she throws tantrums over being told "no" for the first time is entirely in-line with the rest of what this manga asks us to believe.

If people are going to object to Rua wanting the other heroines killed, then I'm of the opinion that Kazuma as a character shouldn't exist as he does, either, because this is the only way things are balanced in how it's all being presented.
