It'd be nice if there was the slightest inkling how our overpowered but still very much mortal hero was supposed to overcome the literal creator deity here. There's possible subtext that he's a part of Izanagi and thus could theoretically assert a more moral claim to the divine power over the current douchebag but like... it kinda feels like we're spinning our wheels on how powerful and awful Izanagi is without delving into the how and why.
