I figured he'd question why they were the only ones who washed up on the island out of the entire plane, or why none of the others commented on that oddity, either.
Does make it much more understandable that the entire thing was a dream, though, since "waking logic" need not apply in those situations in the first place.

I can't not fan of situations like this, when the world where the MC gets iskeai'd into goes through unexpected developments that isn't something the genre the world is supposed to be in would undergoes as a way to lengthen the story.

It would be one thing if the filler was mainly about MC's interaction with the girls, but that seems secondary compared to just him dealing with the system again.

So that was all a dream huh... Guess that explains why there was no else on the island.

I would say that this entire dream sequence was useless but it did give us insight on how more of ACT 2 will play out given that the heroines' affection carries over and you'll have to take note on how to get it back up if you die.

Though the worst new feature might be those hidden quick time events that the MC has to do or he dies anyway even if he got the right route. That just sounds miserable as hell.
