Mh, probably yes, he could have but in his original world he had few social contacts - he was an orphan and the one closest to him was an unsocial ossan who taught him martial arts in a dojo. So he probably had very few opportunities to interact with girls his age, if at all. Sou only really started wanting to go out and make friends after coming to the 1:39 world, having a caring family for the first time.
