i do not see it as “taking over” when releases were essentially stalled. if a series sits for months with minimal progress, people will naturally pick it up without asking. that should not be surprising.,

also i would prefer not to escalate this any further since it would just waste energy for everyone involved.

at the end of the day, to each their own.
