By working as a mediator, he asks Misato for compensation, to send a nude to the number he specified. In case she doesn't comply, he will go to the police, about her investment fraud crimes.
She complies. There's no need for the mediator to intervene, it's only the agressor and the ofended. So photo is sent.
Turns out "the offended" was just Iwabuchi. He faked an outside ID just to have the photo for himself. To blackmail Misato.
If Misato sent the photo to him directly, it would seem fishy, and untrustworthy, to consider the photo not being sent to more people outside. Iwabuchi dealt like it was a closed transaction. And it worked.

I’m more curious about what Misato will come up with to justify her failure - after all, her ass is in Riki’s hands. Will she really forget about that after Sousuke’s “motivation”?
Or, more likely, we’re in for another “brilliant” plan by the heroes to outsmart the villain. At least it might be amusing.

As for Iwabuchi, I found the idea amusing that he used to be Riki Miyase’s doctor - her psychiatrist. Basically, a Doctor Hannibal Lecter of the NTR world.

2 - The entire scenario of Misato and Iwabuchi cooperating is only a conjecture. With what we have now( as of chapter 70), there's no trace of it being remotely truth. We had 2 chapters worth of flashback to prove it. And no point to counter this scenario altogether;

3 - You do realize that the entire "Misato sent a photo to another person" was a trap, right? Rika broke Misato into investment fraud > Misato started winning a great sum of money > Iwabuchi approached Misato asking for compensation over one of her frauds > Misato takes a nude( with her face showing, as it's shown in chapter 69) and forwarded to a "boy" > Iwabuchi has the photo and starts blackmailing Misato > Misato, by chance, finds Rika's secret account > The account has pictures of Rika with Iwabuchi > Misato understands that Rika and Iwabuchi were together since a long time > The entire thing, since Rika breaking Misato into fraud, to the blackmailing from Iwabuchi, was a plan from the couple to trap Misato > Rika does not deny her involvement with Iwabuchi > Rika asks Misato for the favor with Sousuke > Rika knows Misato's blackmailed.

4 - We don't know Rika's motives, so it's not off the table yet that she was the one who could've lead the spreading. "Breaking free" from Rika could be well contextualized from chapters 66 and 68: the entire village hated Miyase. Anything related to her was deemed as bad. If Misato had any perceived ties with Rika( even from just being a college student), being hated would also be normal.

I think there are several development options. The first one, as you described. Second, Misato won't answer the phone, or he'll talk to Rika not near Soska. Third, Satsuki will interrupt the dialogue and we won't know anything.

I believe in a joint operation. Rika has her strong points, Iwabuchi has his. He knows how to deal with spyware and the likes, she knows how to lure people into traps.

"Manipulation" is another issue. Rika's face in chapter 70 shows she was already dead set in her goal of true love. Iwabuchi is helping her achieve that.

Is misato stupid? If she goes to the police both rika and iwabuchi would be fucked too so she can blackmail rika using that and get away.
I was right about satsuki listening everything from somewhere and she will definitely beat rika.Its quite possible rika doesn't have anything to blackmail misato but only bluffing about it.
What are the chances that she is living in her own home ?
Also,I get the feeling that rika is trying to save misato indirectly using sousuke from iwabuchi but the chances of this happening is very low

So… I’m kind of curious about the story, but I also don’t really want to read it all. I’ve read some of the discussions, but they’re kind of confusing, so I was wondering if someone who’s actively reading it could be kind enough to give me a summary of the story so far.
