Her family name and sword are relatively known by the educated/literate and perhaps by aspiring adventurers as they are tied to slaying one of the 4 great dragons and the "Tell-All" book her mother wrote after running off with her new boyfriend made their name/legend come up more often in recent times.
The Frost Dragon Sword itself seemingly appeals to the masses as does the Dragon Slaying aspect tied to it.

Plus The Sword/Her Namesake are probably the most notable things about the village, even if the country as a whole doesn't seem to care much about the current successors of the bloodline.

Edit: it could be from the 1991 Sega "New" UFO Catcher, specifically it's version of the Scrap Brain stage theme from Sonic 1.

But its odd in that case that they'd mention from an old UFO catcher than from Sonic 1, which Uncle would have been playing a fair bit so they'd be familiar with that more. I think it "sounds" more like the Space Harrier arcade machine music though, especially the dededo bit.
