Looking for a manga I can’t recall the name of (romance/slice of life, most likely shounen/seinen)

I do remember a scene where right before some sort of festival (I think it was a new year shrine visit) the protagonists mom styled his hair, which in turn made her and his gf compare him to his dad. I know it’s not much to work around, but I hope someone will save me from that annoying itch coming deep from my last surviving braincell lol
