What a ride Ghost has been. Probably my second favorite installment from Crossbone, just after the Original, ahead of the Steel Seven, and Skullheart comes in fourth.

Also while reading online I've seen critique about crossbone being "not serious" and thus not up to anime adaptation, but out of those 4 mangas, outside of monkey chapter, thats just a silly episode isolated in itself, and few clown-based costumes in this manga, its a really solid piece of media, don't know why people give it so much shit. Not everything has to be a damn white gundom with yellow v on its forehead or zaku.

I think it's more of just the over the top designs for some and some things are just kind of too much compared to the rest of the UC (outside of crazy newtype magic shenanigans) ? I do kind of dislike some of the MS designs in most of Crossbone... and really disliked SkullHeart (Though I think maybe part of that was also just a growing annoyance at so many things going the route of "oh pirates are all just happy go lucky good guys!" at the time....?)... Though in Ghost it did make me roll my eyes pretty hard a the Circus stuff and "These MS are made to easily take on a thousand MS at once, they are the Thousand Customs..... ThouCus! Ghost definitely turned out well though. Just dislike Tobia going blind, still being able to pilot, then Font basically being more important/better than him 🤣🤣🤣


I started reading Ghost years ago back when Zeonic abandoned it. I knew later on that Dust came out and was in the future. I think I was vaguely aware that Tobia was still around... but had always assumed Font just kind of disappeared / quit fighting. Obviously Bandai can never truly allow the UC Timeline to achieve peace, as they need to keep producing products...... But hilarious that Font doesn't "save the day" and then see things slowly devolve... instead he thinks he really made a great difference.. then after 3 minutes goes to sleep and wakes up to find everything he achieved is basically gone.
