Yeah, I think I've said it before but seems like them being able to actually talk is very much a double edged sword.
Well, hopefully Ai-chan mellows TF out like most kittens do when they hit a year old or so. Then she'll just be a manipulator like Sora and Kinako 😹 .

Thanks for the translation. It's odd how much the author seems to understand cat psychology. Author must not just have multiple cats, but pay close attention to those cats.

According to chapter 15.5, the author has at least 7 cats 🙀. So definitely knows.

People with lots of cats know that every cat has a it's unique personality, likes and dislikes and quirks.
Dogs are cute but they are just mellow creatures that do their best to be agreeable.
Cats just do their cat things and that's how we love them.
I used to have 4 cats but that was 8 once.
I think i have had like at least 15 cats from when i was a kid to now. Many died from disease or dissapared, they used to be free roaming, but that's too dangerous.
Now all of my family cats are indoor cats. My mom gives them walks tho.
Sadly my family lives in a different continent and i live a sad catless life.

gotta love using cuteness as a weapon (tho as a light hearted comedy i don't know if we'll run into any 'cat haters', if at least not 'allergic to cats' but given the population they're either immune to it or maybe it'll be an instant cure/quick /easy medicine to find/buy)
i'd half expect each door, even the sliding ones to have a cat door/easy for cats to open despite the potential shenanigans lol

Yeah, nobody's addressed cat allergies at all so far. Presumably cured with Future Vaccine (TM). And you know there'd be cat racists (species-ists?) but this manga is probably not the kind to go there.
... though would be funny if there was an entire island country somewhere for all the cat haters where cats weren't allowed. Australia! Sorry to pick on you, Ozzies, was only looking at the geography and how bad cats are for all the native wildlife, I know you like kittehs too.

we know that dogs exist from the movie but i imagine it'd be pretty uncommon. or they'd be chill with cats/not super barker/specific breeds like how ppl say "shiba are basically just cat software in a dog hardware" or so. or maybe it's just japan that's affected but other than some rich oujo-sama chara/mixed i don't think we'll see any kinda summer trip into a diff country
maybe they'd be hyper evolved where you need a cat in every household to protect from the Aussie spiders XD;

i've seen some 'blank' plushie bases before so wouldn't be surprised if theres a version that's cat/other animal shaped or so for ppl to do as their own collection/cosplay accessory lool
