There were definitely choices made in the creation of this chapter, though I don't understand many of them.
"Hah, I've taken your family hostage!" She didn't, never even checked and that possible solution for there being no corpses falls apart.
"Do you know what happens when a vampire drains another's blood?" Never matters because all vampires shown get killed by heart removal.
And then we have half the chapter being a flashback to justify Rose taking Lansia's life for daddy to just swoop in and killsteal.
Usually this would be done so the person in question doesn't need to sully their hands by murdering someone who obviously deserves it, but Rose isn't really an innocent flower (p.s. that pun was definitely not intended) that has never shown violent behavior before.

That was an interesting way to give Rosé some backstory…agreed with the comment above. It was kind of jarring to see what should have been a natural flow of events be clipped constantly. I guess the mangaka was already working towards the ending…?

But also, major lore drop? Aria was killed by a monster. Aria has time magic, and insane strength, so what the hell was that thing?? Maybe it was some kind of god-beast sent by higher powers? I hope we get to see it.

I mean sure it offered a chance to learn more about Rose and Aria, but the back and forth felt so fake and forced... and daddy dearest kill stealing there at the end was just uncalled for. Even of it would be petty vengeance for childish abuse, allowing your daughter her own revenge is part of being a good father as well.
