welp there goes my theory. I didn't expect to see a nine-tailed fox. Also, kid Abe no Semei is so cute. Awww i want to hug him. I think his having a kitsune mother is interesting. That means he wasn't an enemy of youkai, but he lived in a timeline where youkais and humans couldn't live together. My next theory might be right with that Semei knew his death because he saw the future through his future "self" great-grandson.

Yeeep this is the most suspicious one. If he's not reincarnated then he's definitely alive when Seimei already dead since no one can continue Abe bloodline but him (unless Seimei have siblings in this universe?)
