I knew the end was coming, I had plenty of time to prepare and I know that the "end" chapter is not the end end because of the additional volume still to come. But I'm still sad.
College for florists? I guess you need a more diverse skill set in this day and age. Caring for species and making arrangements, to start. Managing staff, filing business paperwork, balancing the books, is more. But then you probably need to know how to build a website, run social media accounts, and do marketing. That could be enough content for a two year degree.
If she ends up working for the florist, I'm gonna...feel like it's way too convenient 🤷
Chapter definitely felt like filler, since the last chapter was pretty definitively "♥️THE END♥️". I get that epilogues are all the rage but I'm of the (respectful) opinion that 9 times out of ten they're completely unnecessary. It's cute, just... unfulfilling.
Playing with the 'And then for no reason he winds up Studying Abroad so that we can have a last bit of conflict at the end' trope. I was very relieved that it was just one last 'you gotta talk to people if you're worried' bit.
So, will Tabata become the florist woman's apprentice?
Also, one thing I like about Tetsu's relationship with Uguisudani is that he just takes no shit from her. They're really perfect for each other.
