I suspect the adaptation skipped a few things here, because I'm not sure I understand why the girls can combat an elite fighter of the kingdom, armed with magical book(s) to boot, so effectively.

Also: the text on page 26, panel 3 is duplicated.

Thanks for noticing it. I Don't know how i completely miss that panel but i will fix it :3.
About the first thing idk, i mean it's a 4 vs 1 and it's a Paladin class (Who can constantly recharge everyone's mana), a Dragon class (The fastest type), and a Devil class (She can accomulate and release mana as we saw in this chapter) and they are suppose to be the strongest classes in the kingdom even tho they are still young. And finally you have Melida who has Kufa's training so i guess it makes sense that they can put on a fight with him, at least for me.
I think the main problem it's that we don't have enough background from Bidj and the magical book's thing only makes it a lot more odd.
