Trying to figure out what's in the 4th panel of page 4; looks like he slung a bag or something over his shoulder, but it got partially erased with the redrawning/typesetting?

Bloody mary... I always feel a little guilty. When I was in middle school I handled being a transfer student by coming up with incredibly vivid, local origin stories for Bloody Mary. I think I did basically this exactly to some other kids

Not sure what you're referring to; it just looks like he's wearing a loose collared shirt or coat over a t-shirt?
