Asura doesn't need to lie. He's telling the truth, but since the police have no knowledge about the key, it sounds like he's lying. Plus they're questioning Asura after he got attacked, so they think his story might be from distress.

I felt relieved when the key didn't work on the police. Didn't want someone innocent going to hell.

Is this guy Raika's actual brother, or just someone claiming to be Raika's brother?

I wonder how long gonna take to the police to realize that MC was telling the truth all along.

Maybe Kira should have opened with "Yeah, I wanted those guys dead so I wrote their names in my instant-kill notebook" and see how far along he would have gotten.

Being fair, Kira's two issues were leaving too many witnesses of the supernatural killings and the fact that anybody who touched the notebook would instantly get to see Ryuk.

Asura so far has had no witnesses besides his two friends and his key doesn't seem to work in the hands of others.

someone give these kids a break (still surprised we haven't come across another 'keyholder' unless they have dif forms/items lol)

way in the beginning when he refused, it still showed up 'in his possession' despite not agreeing to the demons deal lol but i guess it's good only he could use it (would assume he'd be more worried/tried to stop the cop unless he can willingly activate/'loan' his power or so)

I wonder how long gonna take to the police to realize that MC was telling the truth all along.

i mean, it's hard to believe 'i have a key from a demon that can send ppl to hell' versus it being one of those police manga from the view of the detectives where they actually have a 'supernatural' dept lol if not him being like "i'll punish X today , please watch me" tho idk if he'd willingly turn himself in even if he told the truth
