I remember reading spoilers months ago, and if I interpreted them correctly (Constantine was mentioned), I think we see the beginning of the change in their relationship here.

I mean, Rossweisse was touched by him stating he would die for her, so it's only one or two steps more for her to realise she now really loves him. For him, well, I don't know, he's shittalking too much.
