Beyond the chapter number kerfuffle, page 4 shouldn't be "I am" but "she is," because they're talking about Messiah, not the Saint.

Okay, so checking on the raws, here's the breakdown.

I have no idea what's going on for sure. Chapter 4 here is exactly as it appears on Comic Glasto. Unfortunately, I can't see Chapter 3. In order to see that one, I'd have to purchase the volume release on Book Walker or Amazon.co.jp.

Chapter releases are in two-parts, with one part per week on Fridays. The first Friday of the month is skipped, probably to give the mangaka a bit of breathing room. Which is fair is you ask me - we're getting about two whole chapters per month on this schedule.

The only exception thus far was Chapter 1.2, which released on the first Friday of January. But given that was just the second release, I'd count that as a one-time-only deal where the first Friday wasn't skipped.

Okay, so I went back and reread the other chapters...

Folks? I think we should expect this kind of jarring advancement in the future. There were quite a few scenes in the earlier chapters where it feels like we're just skipping things like this. You don't really catch it if you're just skimming the chapters, but once you stop and pay close attention, it suddenly becomes very jarring in some places.

If she is gods chosen, wouldnt that make her an apostle, or if she is just receiving revelations from gods, a holy maiden? isekai's sure like to stretch the saint/ess definition.

Actual translation, as continuation from the previous 2 bubbles: Currently a Shinigami (death god)

Which I think happened because MTL didn't recognise it's a continuation and the bubble itself says Genzai ha (currently) shinigami desu (am/is death god)
