I just so happened to look up and read the web novel again recently (hasn't been updated since last year, sadly). While I didn't... mind the novel per se, I think the manga version of Sei is so, SO much better.

While I don't know how they're planning on adapting his sporadic adventures, I wouldn't mind too much if they deviated a bit from the, uh, repetitiveness and earning that "mature" tag like in the novel. It's like ramen and The Second Coming of Gluttony all over again...

Ask the mangaka, because the god only appears chapter 1 in the books. The books don't have a central antagonist.

I wonder if things are ever going to get back on track for the plot? I want to see the Saint Arc.

This is pretty much a original story with the same characters at this point tbh, I feel like it would lowkey be asking for an axe to follow the source at this point because it wouldn't match the vibe that we have right now.

I read that Sophie later goes back to her former employer, kinda in poor taste imho, because if she was so in love with him, her interactions with Sei are messed up. But i also read the he develops some kind of relationship with Luna, so i thought she would be a fixed character. Didn't read anything about Scarlet tho.

Sei and Luna stay, everyone else goes... but that's only after all the dungeon bosses have been hunted down. Not even one of them has appeared yet.

Like the other commenter said, she actually stays BUT she eventually leaves but is clearly setup to be one of the true harem members while the other members are very clearly kinda just temporary sex friends and showed no qualms about leaving him, this feels kinda weird in the manga but in the novel he has a lot of temporary relationships like this so that is why actual harem members are rare and more of a endgame thing, the main constant is him always being alone going all over the world and always with different members

Every culture has their own niche or fetish, when it comes to sexual stuff.
Like in my country, apparently the Neighborhood Married Women or Neighborhood Aunty genre has been the core for pornography for decades.

As for Japan, it also has quite a lot of other weird fetishes as well. And compared to those, Watersports is quite tame, plus its actually a popular genre in many other countries as well (you would find atleast 1 out of every 5 western porno to be have Watersports in it). I mean, if you are into Cunnilingus, then being subjected to Watersports is almost guaranteed.
