My guess is that they used to date, she got jealous of him spending time with the guild that included other women, accused him of cheating and he said it was just a guildmember and she didn't need to be worried or jealous, refused to accept it and dumped him, and deep down regrets it because she's down the absolute worst for him. So she needs to prove he's a sleazy womanizer or she'll have to accept she threw away a great guy.

We know how touma died. Remember she flirted with him then one of the members of their club just outright pushed him infront of a train/truck. I don't know how she died but I can probably guess she died regretting his death.
