the art quality in this manga is... not good, mangaka has a LOT of problems with perspective shifts and profiles/angles.
Some pages looks like he simply pasted a front face, shifted it and then drew something that looks like a neck which looks horrible, specially on the final pages.

That's depressing. Not because I wanted to hang this on you doing a bad job upscaling (far from it) but because the realization that no, the artist is just accepting some terrible, AI-ass garbage faces and scene composition is so disappointing.

I mean, the story is bad already so kinda eh lol but I get you, I always joke with others about the faces

Only time I've seen the upscaling messing something was a hand in idol yamerukedo but it is because the raws are shockingly bad quality even if I rip them myself directly

This manga has weird design sometimes. But the depiction of Amrus on page 17 was downright pitiful. That doesn't look like a town, more like an ancient Roman garrison in the middle of nowhere.

TBF, the art style was bad before AI generated art was all that accessible for something like this. So the illustrator is just that bad at drawing. If anything running the art thrue an AI slop generator might improve it

Yeah, the walls are too high. I was mostly referring to the more-or-less orderly blocks of buildings (not realistic in a pseudo-european-medieval setting) and the complete absence of farmlands/buildings outside the walls, which reminded me of garrisons. But a pixel game town symbol might be closer to it.

Yea it feels like this is just being pumped out like industrial waste. Could have ended right after the marriage chapter with some good stuff, but now the plot feels hastily thrown together. Also the cheesy, poorly done foreshadowing? Yea I'm over it all.

This is not a spoiler but a guess.
Since I read this recently, it feels like a war is brewing somewhere, from what I can surmise.

Noir, the former maou iirc told them (MC and co) that he alone was stopping idiots or loose cannons or muscleheads from acting up, and tried his best to have no casualties from both the human cities and the Dem*n-Realm for centuries—until 10 years ago, someone got passed his walls and attack the humans—which led Naomi to kill him because of this incident.


TL;DR Since "Noir", is not there anymore—there's no more stopping the muscleheads from gaining the maou's throne and launch a war to the opposite side of the world.

P.S. As I've said, this is just a guess.

For me, they could've ended this in the previous chapter, since the story is already finished by that. There's really no more angles they could've used to create another story out of it.

However,nfrom this series alone, they pretty much summarized what would literally happen in an isekai series—but this isekai is not a grown person being transported to another world, but a baby falling out of the sky, which is weird and vague—and could be use to transform MC's background character into something else if the author wants to.

About the skewed art styles being used, yes—I can agree that it's wholeheartedly bad but the story is kinda nice but it feels like they're creating more fillers than to actualized the main title of the story—and now, they're going into MILF territory which I don't want the MC to be a part of, NGL.
