the raws are on pixiv in a perfectly serviceable quality, I'm not sure the ai up-scaling was necessary at all
Also, the group being behind is a ridiculous excuse when they just picked up the series a month ago. There are plenty of series out there that aren't actively being worked on, I'm not sure I understand the reasoning for going for one that has a team working on it already

A lack of refusal to give you consent to take over the series is not the same as consent to do so, and there's nothing indicating that the current group has dropped this series, anyways. The fact that you don't seem to understand this honestly makes me think that you either have no critical thinking skills or are being actively malicious.

Regarding the upscaling, though, have you considered the possibility of just... Not doing it? Not everything needs to display at maximum quality on your 4K gaming monitor, especially when the upscaled version is literally sickening to look at. As NotKiwiBird mentioned, the Pixiv raws have a perfectly fine resolution.

Anyways, wanna know how to fix this? Translate something else that doesn't already have an active translation group. I promise, doing so would be a win-win for all parties. You get to translate a manga and the readers have one more manga available to choose from.

Currently, the software we are using (best we could find currently, any suggestions for other software's would be helpful) pixelates the raw quality, requiring us to upscale. If you have any suggestions for fixing this, please let us know. If not, we will be posting the translations as they are, without upscaling, and we'll let you guys decide what is better. As for your second comment, we aren't making excuses, nor is it our intent to steal the manga from the other scan group. If they have an issue with us posting the manga, we will gladly take them down.

Like I’ve said before, if they have an issue with us posting the manga, we will take the translations down. For now, we will post as is.
Regarding the second comment: like I’ve said in another post, the software we are using pixelates the manga. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue, or have another way of scaling or even another free software we can use please let us know.

As for your final comment, if you can find us a manga that currently has no translations in English that you’re personally interested in, leave it as a suggestion for us to translate. We don't mind picking up new manga. For the time being, we will continue to translate this manga unless the scan group has an issue with us posting it. If you have an issue with us posting, the other scan group may post eventually

I don't quite understand your comment, but i will be fixing the upscaling, we understand the issue with the upscaling and are looking for ways to fix it, and i will be fixing the volume number as well, forgot about that.
