I didn't expect Shoma to use Primte of all things. Though, to be fair, both archetypes are centered around tribute summons, when you stop to think about it, so maybe the chemistry isn't that bad after all? Also, Primite can have quite the slim, if not non-existing, Extra Deck if it wants to.

I knew about the cards since release, but I never realized how good the design for the Clown Clan cards were, they look SO GOOD! Especially seeing them all next to each other, it reminds me a lot of Abyss Actor, but a bit more cohesive (and a lot more competent of a strategy).

enneacraft play soo differently compare to other deck, can't wait for it to reach master duel.
I'm hoping MD releases the Ennacraft cards along with their new support that makes them WAY more powerful.

Asta.PIXEA is great because while its face up on the field it doesnt allow your opponent to target cards on either field or graveyard
Ohhh do that's why Shouma didn't chain drillbeam. I was also kinda sceptical with Lordy Lode summon effect that early but when I read closely, apparently Shouma bypasses this restriction by not using monster effects, just spells and pendulum scale eff

let's be real, even with new support, they are barely topping on japan, soo
On the contrary, "barely topping" means the deck is at minimum competent.

Unfortunately, the deck that's been running the OCG lately has been Kewl Tune, which is already nearly at full power in MD. All they're missing is Fydraulis Harmonia.

Yeah but they have tops in the west even without their support, and it isn't the first time Japan just missed a good deck. I don't think they're gonna be tier 1 or anything, but I don't think they'll be bad, it's definitely better than Mimighoul and people ran that all the time in MD even at high ladder. It's weird because their MU spread is really awkward. They have some good MU's against the top decks like Yummy and post support decks like Mitsurugi and some bad matchups against the top decks like Killer Tune.

To add onto that, Primite is also an EARTH deck, making Purge useable here. Also, PSY-Frames are LIGHT too, which helps with interrupting the opponent further. (when going second)

Furthermore, Lordly Lode only blocks you from using the effects of Special Summoned monsters on field, means the Clan effects on tribute still work and Whiteface can still use his effects because he's not getting Special Summoned. Whiteface's effect allows you to get out Imperial, so Imperial can be used to summon Ether Beryl to get followup while still getting blanket negation or banishing psychic or dragon monsters (driver and flamvell guard (mentioned this ch)). Clan extra should also fit a berzelius and maybe even a PSY-Frame Lambda and Omega. It can also play shifter and d fissure, which stop KT and Branded/Branded DT (and impede basically everything else except literally just pend decks and mitsu) while only losing out on beryl grave effect; the draw power of Clan also gives better access to these.
TL;DR: Deck works and can play floodgates, which is always a sign that a deck is "good".

Lwk shoma better than me I’ve been creating clown clan slifer/ra/wicked avatar/vanity’s fiend. I even just added in my five pieces of exodia after losing to my friend due to me decking out.

Personally how shoma is playing clown clan is pretty interesting, but then again if you do only have matinee and whiteface in hand that’s the only course of action you can take, and being able to fill your board with tribute fodder to use with whiteface’s opp turn ability while starting from such a hand is pretty impressive, not to mention how this deck plays around nibiru (it’s 4 special summons if I counted right) and even if it’s 5 and nibiru activates, it plays into matinee. Primate is still an interesting pick tho I would’ve chosen something else like power patron. (I post a few clown crew decks in ygoprodeck under the name snowmanthus if you wanna take a look at decks I’ve created you can see them there)
